iphone se 5g: Apple may soon launch new iPhone SE, iPad Air – Times of India

New Apple devices have been certified by Russia-based regulator Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), as per a report by Consomac. The new devices include iPhone models with the identifiers A2595, A2783, and A2784, which could be the third-gen iPhone SE (likely to be named the SE+ 5G), and iPad models with the identifiers A2588, A2589, A2591, A2696, A2757, A2759, A2761, A2766, and A2777– which could very well be the fifth-gen Apple iPad Air.
The certification gives strength to the rumours that Apple’s first iPhone launch for this year is going to be the iPhone SE 5G and that the company will announce a new iPad Air at the launch event also, which is expected to take place in Spring.
As per the report, the new iPhone SE is likely to come with a 4.7-inch display and Touch ID home button but will ship with a better, A15 Bionic chipset and of course, the 5G connectivity.
The new iPad Air (2022) is also speculated to be decked out with an A15 Bionic chip, a 12MP ultrawide front camera with Center Stage support from the latest iPad mini, and 5G support.
Recently, tech journalist Mark Gurman had claimed that Apple will hold its first event of the year in March or April and could announce the first iPhone of 2022, the next iPhone SE with 5G connectivity. In the Power On newsletter, Gurman wrote: “Apple gets ready for its first virtual event of 2022. Apple’s first virtual event of 2022 is coming up in just a few short months and is likely to take place in either March or April, I’m told.”
