ED questioned Bihar Deputy CM Tejashwi Yadav in Land for Jobs case. In the first round, after 3 hours of questioning, Tejashwi was given a lunch break. After this ED again questioned him.

Tejashwi Yadav reached the ED office with his lawyer at 11 am. If media reports are to be believed, questions and answers are being asked about Tejashwi’s family members and their income. This inquiry can go on till evening.

ED sent summons to Tejashwi and called him to the headquarters in Delhi on Tuesday, April 11. ED is questioning Tejashwi for the first time in the Land for Jobs case. Earlier CBI has questioned him.

Before leaving for Delhi, Tejashwi Yadav said that there is an election in 2024. All this will continue. People understand everything.

Waiting for CBI’s stand
Tejashwi Yadav appeared before the CBI on March 25 in the Land for Jobs case. When the CBI had sent summons to Tejashwi Yadav, a petition was filed against him in the Delhi High Court. Tejashwi wanted the questioning to be done through video conferencing. While hearing the petition, on March 16, the Delhi High Court directed Tejashwi Yadav to appear before the CBI on March 25.

CBI had assured Tejashwi Yadav that he will not be arrested now. How is the stand of ED this time? Tejashwi’s supporters as well as his opponents are waiting for this. It is expected that ED will interrogate Tejashwi for a long time. The investigating agency has collected many types of evidence in the case. Along with many members of the Lalu family, people close to him have also been questioned.

Know in which case CBI is questioning Tejashwi

The matter is related to Lalu Prasad, who was the Union Railway Minister from 2004 to 2009. The allegation is that while in office, Lalu Prasad got the family jobs in the railways in return for land transfer. The CBI has also alleged that the recruitments made in the Railways were not in accordance with the standards and guidelines of the Indian Railways.

Whereas, house number D-1088 (registered in the name of AB Exports Pvt. Ltd., owned by Tejashwi Prasad Yadav and his family) located in Delhi’s New Friends Colony, has a market value of Rs 150 crore today. Mumbai’s gems and jewelery businessmen have invested money in buying it. On paper it is a company office, but Tejashwi uses it as his home. Tejashwi had resigned from the post of director of this company on 9 November 2015. Tejashwi has said that he was very young at the time of the matter.

ED has sought details of those companies from Lalu Yadav, Rabri Devi, Tejashwi Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, Misa Bharti, Ragini Yadav, Chanda Yadav Bhola Yadav. On which the ED suspects money laundering. These companies have been running only on paper. Money has been exchanged under these companies.

Tejashwi Yadav got a big blow from the Delhi High Court on Thursday in the Land for Jobs scam case. The court rejected Tejashwi’s plea to quash the CBI summons.
