Intelligence gave a report 6 hours ago: How violence happened in 3 of the 17 districts of UP where the administration was on high-alert?

On June 10, 2022, at 1.30 pm, people gathered for the Friday prayers. Exactly 30 minutes after the end of Namaz, people took to the streets in 8 cities. Slogans, stone pelting and arson started. What was the police, administration and intelligence of UP doing then?

This happened on June 9, a day before Friday.
Intelligence gave some important information to the administration. DG Intelligence and Acting Director General of Police i.e. DGP DS Chauhan say that that information cannot be made public. But on those information, he took action on 9 June itself.

High-alert was issued in 17 districts on the night of June 9 itself.
The administration issued a high alert from the night of June 9 in 17 districts of Kanpur, Unnao, Varanasi, Rampur, Faizabad, Lucknow, Agra, Bareilly, Mathura, Meerut, Bijnor, Bulandshahr, Aligarh, Gonda, Prayagraj, Saharanpur and Moradabad.

Section 144 imposed in Kanpur. Varanasi divided into 6 zones and 30 sectors. Each zone was kept on separate alert. In 15 districts including Meerut, 12 companies were given PAC i.e. Regional Security Force and RAF i.e. Rapid Action Force. Drones should be installed at very sensitive places.

Now the day of violence i.e. 10th June…

Intelligence gave the latest report 6 hours before Namaz, but in 3 out of the same 17 districts, there was great violence.
After the latest report of Intelligence, 3 out of 17 alert districts, Prayagraj, Saharanpur, Moradabad witnessed maximum uproar. In Prayagraj alone, when the police got the road stones removed, 25 trucks were filled. There was a ruckus in Aligarh with alert and 4 districts without alert Hathras, Ambedkar Nagar, Firozabad and Jalaun.

Acting DGP’s claim – There was a very detailed system, that’s why UP was saved
Acting DGP DS Chauhan says, ‘There was a very detailed arrangement of police, due to which there was peace in many sensitive districts of UP, including cities like Meerut, Bulandshahr Aligarh, Moradabad, Kanpur and Banaras. There was complete preparation of the police and administration, due to which there was no loss of life.

Prayagraj: Claim – 10,000 security personnel were deployed, reality – country bombs went on the police
Police claim: SSP Ajay Kumar claimed that 10,000 security personnel were deployed. Officers were monitoring the sensitive areas of Kareli and Atala. 46 people had been marked on social media. A team of 72 people was checking his Facebook and WhatsApp posts.
reality: In the violence that broke out in the Atala area, the attackers attacked the police with country-made bombs. ADG Prem Prakash’s gunner was seriously injured in stone pelting. IG Prayagraj Rakesh Singh was badly injured due to stone pelting. DM Sanjay Kumar Khatri and SSP Ajay Kumar were stoned. Violent mob vandalized vehicles parked on the road. Blown them. The miscreants set the PAC’s vehicle on fire.

Saharanpur: Claim – Talks have been held with religious leaders, reality – Crowds descended on the streets

reality: After the Friday prayers from Jama Masjid in Saharanpur, the crowd suddenly started shouting slogans of Allah Hu Akbar. Soon the crowd became furious. started stone pelting. The police also had to lathi-charge. At the same time, in Deoband too, people who came out of the mosques had posters in their hands about Nupur Sharma. There was a heated argument with the police. 36 miscreants were arrested.

Moradabad: Claim- Religion Guru with us, Reality- Nupur Sharma came out with posters to slit his throat
Police claim: DM Shailendra Kumar Singh claimed that Moradabad is peaceful. Talks have been held with religious leaders. There won’t be a problem here. 200 police personnel have been deployed in sensitive areas. Nothing will happen here during the Friday prayers.

reality: People came out of Jama Masjid in Moradabad. Comparing Nupur Sharma to a terrorist, the crowd raised slogans of “Nupur Sharma ko hangi do”. After the ruckus, the police had to lathi-charge. In the video that came out from here, it is seen that minor children are running from there while falling. After the Namaz in Moradabad, posters carrying Nupur Sharma’s beheading took to the streets.

Police claim: According to SSP Ashish Tiwari, the meeting of the Peace Committee has been held. Police force is deployed in sensitive areas. Facebook and WhatsApp are doing Niragani IT cell.

reality: After the prayer, the people of the Muslim community came on the road. He started shouting slogans while waving the flags. People wanted to take out a procession. But, the police laid siege. There was a ruckus, 20 people were arrested for trying to create a nuisance here.

Hathras: Claim – 500 soldiers have been planted, have spoken to the religious leader, reality – try to burn the effigy

Police claim: According to SP Vikas Kumar Vaidya, 500 soldiers are deployed in sensitive areas. Conditions are controlled. Therefore, efforts to spoil the environment will fail. Talks have been held with religious leaders regarding Friday prayers.

Reality: Here the intelligence completely failed. After 30 minutes of prayer in the mosque here, a crowd started gathering on the road. He wanted to burn the effigy of Nupur Sharma. But, the police chased the people away. So far 50 people have been arrested and sent to jail.

Aligarh: Claim – Police are in sensitive areas, reality – people came on the road carrying posters
Police claim: According to SSP Kalanidhi Naithani, RAF and PAC personnel will also be deployed along with the police in various areas including Upparkot, Dehligate, Phool Chauraha. The religious leaders had assured that there would be no untoward incident.

reality: After Namaz in Akbarabad, people came out on the road carrying posters of Nupur Sharma’s arrest. The police chased everyone away by lathi charge.

Ambedkar Nagar: Police is among the people, reality – sloganeering and stone pelting
Police claim: According to SP Ajit Kumar Sinha, the police is among the people. So there will be no commotion. Additional police force has been deployed after the Kanpur incident.

reality: People took to the streets. Slogans started. In Tanda, the mob pelted stones at the police. FIR has been registered against 50 miscreants. After the commotion started, the police force showed little in comparison to the crowd.
