India’s T20 World Cup Victory Sparks Wild Celebrations, Chants Of ‘India, India’ Echo — WATCH

India T20 World Cup Win: India erupted in jubilation as the national cricket team clinched their second T20 World Cup title, defeating South Africa by seven runs in a thrilling finale. From Pune to Hyderabad, Chhattisgarh to Kerala, and beyond, fans took to the streets, waving flags and bursting crackers to mark the historic win.

In Pune, scenes of exuberance painted the streets as crowds cheered and whistled in celebration. Visuals from Pune showed people on streets whistling and waving India’s flag capturing the euphoria of the moment.

Meanwhile, in Hyderabad, hundreds of enthusiastic fans congregated, chanting “India India” in unison. 

In Raipur, Chhattisgarh, fireworks lit up the night sky as fans rejoiced over India’s victory.  

Mumbai witnessed similar fervor, with fans chanting patriotic slogans such as ‘Bharat Mata ki jai’ and ‘Hindustan Zindabad’ amidst celebrations. The city’s love for cricket was palpable as supporters expressed their joy in unison.

Flyers at Mumbai Aiport rejoiced in the victory by dancing to Dhol beats. A banner of ‘Congratulations Team India’ can also be seen in a video shared by news agency ANI.

Even in Kerala, fans danced and celebrated the win, underscoring the nationwide excitement following India’s triumph on the cricket field.

In Delhi, the celebrations were marked by the bursting of firecrackers and enthusiastic slogans of ‘Bharat Mata ki jai,’ reflecting the emotional outpouring of fans.

“Bharat Maata ki jai” chants were also raised along with the national tricolor in Jammu as fans celebrated the historic win.

India’s Second T20 World Cup Win

India’s victory came after an intense match against South Africa, where skipper Virat Kohli’s stellar innings of 76 runs proved pivotal in setting a competitive total of 176/7. Reflecting on the win, Kohli said, “It’s a momentous occasion for Indian cricket. The team showed great character throughout the tournament.”

With contributions from star bowlers like Jasprit Bumrah and Arshdeep Singh, who stifled South Africa’s chase to 169/8, India clinched their first T20 World Cup since 2007. The triumph marks India’s second T20 World Cup win, following their inaugural victory under MS Dhoni’s captaincy in 2007.
