Sargam Koushal, an Indian contestant, was crowned Mrs World pageant in a gala event held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Mrs India World 2022 was crowned by a jury panel that included Soha Ali Khan, Vivek Oberoi, Mohammad Azharuddin, couture designer Masumi Mewawalla, and former Mrs World Aditi Govitrikar.
“BIG WIN for INDIA. And after 21 years, INDIA wins Mrs World pageant! Congratulations @sargam3 @mrsindiainc for winning the title of #MrsWorld 2022,” Tgpc posted on Instagram.
Mrs World 2022 took on Instagram with a photo captioned, “The long wait is over, it’s after 21 years we have the CROWN back!”
Aditi Govitrikar, an actress-model, complimented her on Instagram Story, writing, “Heartiest congratulations @sargam3 @mrsindiainc.” So grateful to have been a part of the journey… it was about time the crown returned after 21 years.”
Mrs World was founded in 1984 as the first beauty pageant for married women. Mrs. America inspired the notion of the pageant itself. The pageant was titled as Mrs. Woman of the World from 1984 to 1987 before being renamed Mrs. World in 1988. Mrs. World has grown into the world’s largest marital pageant, with directors from 80 nations participating.
Sargam Koushal is an Indian model and teacher from Jammu. She married in 2018, and soon after, she recognised her love and chose to compete in beauty pageants.
She competed in Mrs India 2022 beauty pageants in the year 2022. While preparing for the pageant, Koushal and her fellow competitors attended workshops with well-known specialists in the pageantry industry. Among the experts are ramp walk specialist Kavita Kharayat, fitness expert Jinni Shaikh, hair and make-up expert Cherag Bambboat, and nutrition expert Dr Varun Katyal.
