India’s Cumulative COVID-19 Vaccination Coverage Crosses 30 Crore | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: India’s cumulative COVID-19 vaccination coverage has crossed the 30 crore mark, informed the Union Health Ministry on Wednesday.
As per the provisional report released today at 7 pm 30,09,69,538 vaccine dose administered so far. Over 58.34 lakh vaccine doses were given to eligible beneficiaries on Wednesday.
In the age group of 18-44 years, 41,23,073 vaccine doses were given as the first dose and 68,903 as the second dose. Overall, 7,02,11,075 persons in 37 states/UTs have received their first dose and a total of 14,98,113 have received their second dose since the start of the third phase of the vaccination campaign, the ministry said.
Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Rajasthan Rajasthan, tamilnadu, Telangana, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh And West Bengal has administered the first dose of COVID vaccine to more than 10 lakh beneficiaries in the age group of 18-44 years.
Meanwhile, India reported 50,848 fresh infections and 68,817 recoveries in the last 24 hours. India’s COVID-19 active caseload dips to 6,43,194, lowest in 82 days Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) gave this information on Wednesday.
The daily positivity rate in the country is 2.67 percent. The weekly positivity rate remained below 5 per cent for the 16th day in a row and currently stands at 3.12 per cent.
