Indian passengers left for San Francisco from Russia after 32 hours: Air India sent another flight; Emergency landing took place on Tuesday after a technical fault

Air India’s replacement flight has left for San Francisco carrying Indian passengers stranded in Madagan, Russia. It will land in San Francisco at 12:45 pm Indian time. Air India said that all 216 passengers and 16 crew members of the Boeing 777-200 LR aircraft flight AI173 are present.

These passengers had left on Tuesday from New Delhi for San Francisco, USA on an Air India flight. Due to engine failure, the emergency landing of this flight was done at Magadan Airport in Russia. An Air India flight had left from Mumbai on Wednesday to take the passengers to San Francisco.

The flight will reach San Francisco on Thursday afternoon
Air India said in a tweet on Thursday morning that this flight took off from Magadan Airport on June 8 at 4:57 am Indian time and will land at San Francisco Airport at 12.45 pm Indian time on June 8. Will be

Air India also informed that additional on-ground support has been deployed at San Francisco airport to complete the clearance formalities as soon as all passengers arrive. Along with this, passengers will also be provided with the facility of medical care, ground transportation and connecting flights where necessary.
