‘India to explain what happened in Mian Channu,’ says DG ISPR after Indian projectile falls in Pakistan – Henry Club

Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Babar Iftikhar briefed the media on Thursday about an Indian “high speed flying object” that was found at Miyan Channu in Khanewal district on Wednesday night.

Earlier reports suggested that a private plane had crashed In area.

“At 6:43 pm on March 9, a high-speed flying object was picked up inside Indian territory,” he began. “From the initial course, it deviated and entered Pakistan territory and fell into Pakistani territory, causing some damage to civilian installations, but no casualties were reported.”

He said that the Pakistani Air Force has started a strategic operation.

“The flight path put civilians in both Pakistan and India at risk. India should explain what caused it. It performs poorly on Indian aviation,” he said, adding that it could have resulted in a major aviation disaster.

He said Pakistan strongly opposes the “gross violation”.

“There was no sensitive installation in Mian Channu where the projectile had landed.”

Responding to a question, he said, “Such weapon systems are tested and tested. “But what it was, India has to explain.”

“This incident shows the dubious capabilities of these programs as well as the human resources working on this technology in India.”

When asked for more details about the item, he said, “We are not claiming anything as of now.” “As a responsible nation, we will wait for India’s reply. We have just given the details of what is known. But it is up to the Indians to tell what happened at Miyan Channu.”

“All our forces are alert to the dangers and challenges we face.”
