IND vs SL, Asia Cup 2023 Super 4: Check the Colombo weather prediction for Tuesday
After thrashing Pakistan by 228 runs on Monday, India will return at R Premadasa Stadium on Tuesday for their second Super Four Clash in the ongoing Asia Cup 2023. The notorious Colombo has frustrated India in the continental event, forcing India to play three days in a row after the match against the arch-rivals was pushed to a Reserve Day. This meant the men in blue would enter the contest against the defending champions without having a preparatory gap.

India must be high on confidence after mauling Babar Azam & Co and will look to continue the momentum against Sri Lanka. But Tuesday’s weather looks no different than what was on the last couple of days.
The current situation in Colombo
News agency ANI shared a video from Colombo in which a dense cloud could be seen in the sky.
“Cloudy skies in Colombo this morning where Team India will face Sri Lanka in the fourth match of Super Fours of #AsiaCup2023, later today,” the caption of the video read.

Weather prediction during the game
Accuweather.com predicts a thunderstorm at the beginning of the play with a 60 per cent chance of precipitation and a 100 per cent cloud cover, indicating a delayed start to the game.
But the conditions get better as the day progresses. The chances of precipitation lessen as the sun sets and the cloud would also subside which means uninterrupted play could be expected.
There could be passing showers late in the night as another thunderstorm is predicted at 9 PM in the night but the good thing is, it doesn’t seem to interrupt the game for a longer period of time. The groundsmen at the Premadasa Stadium have been spectacular in dealing with the heavy rain and they can undoubtedly handle a little drizzle anytime.
Kohli lauds the ground staff in Colombo
Virat Kohli bagged the Player of the Match award for his unbeaten knock of 122 runs off 94 deliveries, including 3 sixes and 9 boundaries. Speaking at the post-match presentation, the former Indian captain lauded the efforts of the ground staff at the Premadasa Stadium for their remarkable efforts.
“A big shout out to the groundsmen from my side, I think they did a fabulous job,” Kohli said.
