India Unbeaten Streak In T20I Series At Home Reaches 16

With the series win over Bangladesh, the T20 World Cup champions extend India’s home series unbeaten streak to 16 consecutive victories in T20I bilateral matches, a run that began in 2019. The streak has been maintained under various captains, including Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya, and now Suryakumar Yadav.

In addition to their unbeaten home series streak, India are also on a 10-match T20I winning streak following the 2024 T20 World Cup. After suffering a loss to Zimbabwe in their first game post-World Cup under Shubman Gill, India bounced back by winning the next four matches, and then followed it up with a decisive 3-0 series victory against Sri Lanka under newly appointed captain Suryakumar Yadav. And they have now added the Bangladesh T20I series to their streak.
