Big action has been taken on corruption in UP. Income Tax Department ie IT has raided 22 places including Lucknow, Noida and Kanpur. IT has raided the officers and contractors associated with the Industries Department, Entrepreneurship Development Institute, Entrepreneurship Training Institute, UPICON in UP. There are about 18 officers-employees on the income tax radar. IT teams are scrutinizing documents related to land deals at their locations.
Name of this operation- Babu Saheb Part-2
The raids started at around 5 am on Wednesday. IT is also conducting raids at one place in Delhi. The name of this operation has been given Babu Saheb Part-2. Officials said that on June 18, action was taken under Operation Babu Saheb Part-1. The officers and employees of government institutions are accused of managing the tender.

Raid at DP Singh in Vipul Khand of Lucknow
The Income Tax team reached the place of DP Singh, who lives in Vipul block of Lucknow, early in the morning. He is a property dealer and contractor. He was raided on 18th June under Operation Babu Saheb Part-1. IT got documentation proofs in this. On this basis DP Singh is on the radar of IT.
Entry of outsiders has been banned at all the raid spots. Help is being taken for the security of the local police.

Some officials have come under the radar of IT by doing scams in government schemes. The strings of these corruption cases are related to the Entrepreneurship Development Institute of UP. In March, Rs 30 lakh in cash was recovered from the car of the director of the institute, Devendra Pal Singh. After this, the chain of raids went on in about 28 places including Noida, Greater Noida, Indirapuram.

Income tax raids have been conducted on the premises of property dealer and guest house operator in Thana Panki and Rawatpur in Kanpur. IT officers who came from about 6 vehicles have raided many places simultaneously.
Raids and inquiries are going on in the house, office, guest house including property dealer and guest house operator. IT raids are on at the locations of Raju Chauhan in Panki’s Gangaganj area and Deshraj Kushwaha in Rawatpur.

Recently, there was an income tax raid at the place of Deputy Commissioner of Industries Rajesh Yadav. According to the information, both of them used to do property dealing work for Rajesh Yadav, who was the Deputy Commissioner of Industries. For the last two months, both were on the radar of the Income Tax Department.
