In Raigad, two goods trains collided with half a dozen bogies including the engine derailed – Rail Hunt

Raigarh, The railway has suffered a major loss in the collision of two goods trains. The incident is from Jamgaon near Raigad station where 7 bogies including the engine of the goods train derailed from the track. The incident happened at 4 pm on Monday. The collision of the trains was so tremendous that more than half a dozen coaches were derailed and badly damaged. Several trains on the Howrah-Mumbai route have been affected after the incident. Some trains have been stopped at different stations.

It is said that the coal loaded goods train parked at the station was hit from behind by the Sariya loaded goods train. Due to this several coaches of both the goods trains were derailed and damaged. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the railway officials left for the spot. There is no information about any casualty in this accident, but a large number of goods have been damaged. It is being told that the train was coming from Brajrajnagar towards Raigad where the goods train parked at Jamgaon station was hit by another goods train.
