A man running a grocery store in Mangalore, Karnataka, burnt his worker alive to death. There was a dispute between them over some small matter. The shopkeeper told the people that the worker had died due to electrocution. He took the worker to the hospital, where the doctors declared him brought dead. Later, when the police investigated, the real cause of death came to the fore.

Mangaluru South police arrested the accused shopkeeper Tausif Hussain, 32, on Saturday. Police Commissioner Kuldeep Jain told that first the people around were questioned. It was proved in the investigation that it was not an accident, but a murder. After this a case was registered and the accused shopkeeper was arrested. During interrogation, the accused also confessed to the murder.

Jain monk’s body cut into pieces and thrown into borewell in Belagavi

A similar incident has come to the fore in Belagavi, Karnataka. Here two people killed a Jain monk. After this, his body was cut into pieces and thrown into a borewell. The accused have been identified as Narayan Basappa Modi and Hasan Dalayath.

According to media reports, one of the accused had borrowed from a Jain monk. Recently, a Jain monk was killed when he asked for his money back. Police arrested both the accused on Saturday. State Chief Minister Siddaramaiah said that strict action will be taken against the accused.
