The Indira Gandhi National University (IGNOU) will close the online application window for admissions into its July 2023 session with a late fee of Rs 200, tomorrow, September 20, 2023. Interested candidates who are yet to apply for IGNOU July 2023 Admissions are advised to register online before the deadline ends. Registrations for IGNOU July 2023 Admissions are to be done online on the official website – –ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
Candidates may note that as per the earlier schedule, the IGNOU July 2023 registration window was scheduled to close on May 8, 2023. However, the open university has subsequently extended the registration deadline multiple times. As per the last extension, the registration deadline for IGNOU July 2023 Admissions was extended from August 31 to September 10, 2023, before being extended again till September 20, 2023.

Interested applicants may also note that at the time of registering for IGNOU July 2023 Session Admissions, they will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee alongside the programme fee for the first year/ semester for the specific programme they wish to seek admission in. Furthermore, the request for refund of registration fee for those candidates who wish to withdraw or cancel their registrations/ admissions, shall be processed as per university policies.
Apart from new admissions, candidates can also apply for re-registrations on the official IGNOU portal. To re-register, candidates will be required to login to the portal using their credentials like username and password, select their programme and pay the programme fee online using net banking, debit or credit cards, or UPI. - Visit the official IGNOU website – ignou.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on ‘Fresh Admission’ from the drop down menu under the ‘Register Online’ tab
- Click on ‘New registration’
- Login to the portal again and fill in the application form with all required details
- Pay the application fee online and submit the form
