The Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has extended the registration deadline for its July 2023 session. Candidates who are yet to register for IGNOU July 2023 session can register for the same on the official website – ignou.ac.in, before the deadline ends. “Fresh Admission for July 2023 Session is open for all programmes for Online and ODL mode date extended up to 15th July 2023,” reads a notice on the official website.
Notably, the Indira Gandhi National Open University started the registration process for the July 2023 session on May 8, 2023, and the registration window was supposed to be closed on June 15. However, the iGNOU has subsequently extended the registration deadline for its July 2023 session.
Interested candidates may note that while registering for a fresh course for the IGNOU July 2023 Session, they should always read the detailed instructions on the official website carefully.
Also, the IGNOU has also notified on its website that “In a particular admission cycle, facility for fee exemption available to SC/ST students can be claimed for one programme only. If an applicant submits more than one application claiming fee exemption, all the applications shall be rejected.”
Moreover, at the time of registration, candidates will be required to pay a non-refundable registration fee along with the programme fee for first year/semester, for the specific programme a candidate wishes to enroll in. In case of cancellation/withdrawal of registrations/applications, the request for the refund of registration fee shall be processed as per university policies. - Visit the official IGNOU website – ignou.ac.in
- On the homepage, click on ‘Fresh Admission’ from the drop down menu under the ‘Register Online’ tab
- Click on ‘New registration’
- Login to the portal again and fill in the application form with all required details
- Pay the application fee online and submit the form
- Download the application confirmation page for reference
