‘If you can pass the bill ban Jai Shri Ram slogans’, Dileep applauds Mamata

BJP MLAs, MPs chanted Jai Shriram slogans targeting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee at the inauguration of Bande Bharat Express. The Trinamool leadership strongly opposed this behavior of BJP MLAs and MPs. BJP’s All India Vice President Dilip Ghosh attacked Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee with Jai Shri Ram from Newton’s Ecopark on Saturday morning. His quip, ‘If you have objections to Jai Sriram, you should pass a bill and ban it.’

Dilip Ghosh said, ‘There is no legal barrier to say Bande Mataram in our country. Saying Jai Sriram is not a problem. Why is he angry? Behind us, regular Joy Bangla is saying. Do we get angry? If you don’t mind hearing Jai Sriram, bring a bill in the assembly. Every day he brings some bills. Pass the bill and ban Jai Shriram in the state. The British issued a circular to stop the use of Bande Mataram in the country. Ban Trinamool Jai Sriram. People will understand, who are they?’

Mamata resented BJP MPs, MLAs chanting Jai Shri Ram slogans at the inauguration ceremony on Friday. Finally, to handle the situation, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnab himself apologized to the Chief Minister. But in the end, Mamata Banerjee did not take the main stage. Dilip Ghosh did not stop to punch Mamata with that. He said, ‘Ashwini Vaishnav explained so much, but Mamata remained adamant. His politics are negative politics. just drama You put some people in jail for saying Jai Sriram. All the people of Bengal are angry. This cannot happen in a democracy. You don’t call our MPs, MLAs in government functions. We have also called. Tried to respect. He has no contribution to this project. You are thinking as if the Mahabharata has become impure.’

Meanwhile, Kolkata Mayor Firhad Hakim took a dig at BJP’s Jai Shriram slogan. He said, ‘Where there Jai Sri Ram slogans are being raised and Ram is being defamed and slandered. If you want to do Jai Sriram, go to Ram Mandir. They are not really Ram devotees, they bring Ram on the streets and are defaming him.’
