It was said on behalf of the IB that two Sikh terrorists have entered Punjab through the Kartarpur Corridor, who have brought commando training from Pakistan. Lashkar Ek Taiba has been given a new task by Pakistan’s agency ISI and they are working for it. Terrorist attacks can happen in Gurdas, Pathankot and other cities of Punjab.

The explosion took place when the alert was not taken seriously

The alert of IB was not taken seriously by the local administration. There was no arrangement of any kind here. That is why the mini secretariat for the blast, which is the bastion of the administrative officers, has the offices of Deputy Commissioner Varinder Sharma, Police Commissioner Gurpreet Bhullar and all the police officers. Even two metal detectors installed in the district court complex were not working.
