I will thrash them, says Putin in response to Ukraine’s peace terms

As the Russia-Ukraine conflict rages on, representatives from the two countries are set to hold talks today in Istanbul. But, even as the world calls for a cease-fire and President Volodymyr Zelenskyy indicates that his country is willing to declare neutrality and consider a compromise on contested areas, Russia’s Vladimir Putin remains unmoved.
