Huge cash seized from 3 MLAs of Jharkhand Congress: On going to Howrah, JMM General Secretary had claimed – Many MLAs in touch

Kolkata Police on Saturday night recovered a large number of bundles of notes from the vehicle of three Jharkhand Congress MLAs in Howrah. All three were going from Jharkhand towards West Bengal. During vehicle checking, the vehicle of Irfan Ansari, Naman Vixal Kongari and Rajesh Kachhap was stopped near Ranihati Mor of Panchla police station area. During the investigation, huge amount of cash was recovered from him. The information about how much cash is there is not yet available.

The three MLAs have been taken into custody by the police of rural Howrah. Irfan Ansari is the MLA of Jamtara, Naman Viksal is the Kolebira of Kongari Simdega and Rajesh Kachhap is the MLA from Khijri assembly constituency of Ranchi district.

The police had to get a machine to count the cash.

On receiving information about the incident, Superintendent of Police Swati Bhangalia reached the spot. He said that on the basis of secret information, a special checking operation was conducted at Ranihati Mor. A car was stopped. Five people, including the driver, were on board the vehicle, including three Congress MLAs from Jharkhand Rajesh Kachhap, Naman Vixal Kongadi and Irfan Ansari.

Swati Bhangalia said that we have caught 3 Congress MLAs from Jharkhand, Jamtara MLA Irfan Ansari, Khijri MLA Rajesh Kachhap and Kolebira MLA Naman Bixal with huge amount of cash. We will be able to count the money only after the counting machine comes.

In fact, on July 25, Supriyo Bhattacharya, the central general secretary of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, claimed that a group of MLAs were in touch with his party. Whose number is around 16 and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha is also seriously considering their proposal. Although he discussed the BJP MLAs, he did not rule out that MLAs of other parties can also be with those BJP MLAs.
