Women Reservation Bill: What benefits will women get in government jobs?
There are many types of benefits provided to women through reservation in government jobs (Women Reservation in Govt Jobs). Know more about them.
1- In many government jobs, some posts are already reserved for women. Along with women candidates, seats are also reserved for divorced and widowed candidates. Please note that only women are recruited for these posts.
2- In some government jobs, women are also given relaxation in the upper age limit as per rules.
3- There is also reservation for women in government jobs for different categories.
4- While applying for different government jobs, the fee for women is set as NILthat is zero. You do not have to pay any fee even for the form.
5- If a woman gets a government job, she will be given preference in her hometown.

SC category – 15 percent
OBC category – 27 percent
EWS category – 10 percent
For government jobs, where direct recruitment is done (no open competition), the following quota has been fixed:
SC category – 16.66 percent
ST category – 7.5 percent
OBC category – 25.84 percent
