A case of honor killing has come to the fore in Darbhanga. When a father heard his 20-year-old daughter talking to her boyfriend, he got angry. After that he first killed the daughter. The dead body was thrown in the river. The matter is of Ratanpura village of Moro police station area. Mo. Osman’s 20-year-old daughter Afreen’s body was found in the river. Everyone was fearing death due to drowning, but his honor was killed. The father had killed him and threw the body in the water.

The matter came to the fore on Monday when Afreen’s mother, sister and maternal uncle reached the women’s helpline and met SSP Aakash Kumar, pleading for the family’s safety. Ajmanut Nisha, project manager of the helpline, said that a recommendation to register an FIR in the matter is being sent to the Moro SHO.

Afreen had gone missing from her house on the night of 15 April. On April 16, father Usman informed the villagers and family members about his disappearance. Afreen’s body was found the next day. Meanwhile, other family members were apprehensive about the affair and an audio clip came on the mobile of the family girl. In that, during the incident, the girl is telling her father that father do not kill me. There was a sound of screaming and pleading again and again.

Marriage was fixed with an older boy

Usman had fixed Afreen’s marriage with an older boy. Here Afreen’s love affair was going on with a boy. This information was also in the house. Afreen was talking on the phone on the night of the incident, which her father overheard. It is alleged that after that he went to the room and killed Afreen. All the family members and Afreen’s maternal uncle also confirm that the father has killed the daughter.
