Homegrown Handset Maker Lava Signs Up Kartik Aaryan As New Brand Ambassador

Domestic handset maker Lava International Limited on Tuesday announced it has signed Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan as its brand ambassador. Aaryan would endorse Lava’s smartphones category. The homegrown brand would launch a 360-degree marketing campaign with the actor soon.

“Signing Kartik Aryan is the perfect fit for Lava,” Mugdh Rajit, Head of Marketing, Sales and Distribution Strategy, Lava, said in a statement.

“Both are challenging the norms of their industries and creating new expectations. Kartik’s superlative performances have earned him a devoted fan following, and Lava’s exciting new launches are setting new standards in the smartphone segment. We are on a mission to provide smartphone customers an excellent Indian alternative, and with Kartik on board, we are confident we can get there faster.”

Apart from the new marketing campaign featuring the Bollywood actror, Lava is also set to launch its new range of smartphones.

The handset maker also launched its new smartphone, the Lava Blaze Pro on Tuesday with a frosted glass back. The Lava Blaze Pro comes with 6X zoom and a triple rear camera led by a 50MP sensor. The Blaze Pro comes with features such as Android 12 out of the box, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of memory.

There’s an 8MP front camera for superior selfies, a bottom-firing speaker, type-C charging, a side mounted fingerprint scanner for enhanced security.

The Lava Blaze Pro has a MediaTek Helio G37 chipset, a 5000mAh battery that promises to last long and a 10W type-C fast charger. The display is 6.5-inch with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
