Himachal Election Results: Congress Retains Power In Hill State. Check Complete Winners List

Himachal Pradesh Results 2022 Complete Winners List: Counting for election to the 68-member Himachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly is underway which took place on November 12. On the cards is the fate of 412 candidates as the hill state witnessed a voter turnout of 75 per cent. The hill state is witnessing a tight contest between the incumbent Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), and Congress with the new entrant Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) making a splash. Besides these major parties, 99 independent candidates, including 20 rebels from the BJP and seven from the Congress, are set to make their presence felt.

The BJP and the Congress fielded candidates in all the 68 assembly constituencies, while the AAP on 67 seats, followed by BSP at 53, the Rashtriya Devbhoomi Party at 29, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) at 11, Himachal Jan Kranti Party on 6, and others on 9 seats.

The ABP News-CVoter Exit Poll Results 2022  projected a seat range of 33 to 41 for the BJP while the Congress was estimated to get 24 to 32 seats and AAP may not get a chance to open its account in the hill state.
