Jharkhand News: The ED has summoned CM Hemant Soren seven times in connection with stone mining and land scam cases
Hemant Soren News: Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren has resurfaced in Ranchi after being “untraceable” for nearly two days. Soren held a meeting with all the MLAs and ministers of his party, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha. The CM’s wife, Kalpana Soren, was also present at the meeting. Meanwhile, amid claims of Soren’s evasion from the Enforcement Directorate, Section 144 of CrPC has also been imposed within a 100-metre radius of the CM’s residence, Raj Bhavan and ED’s Ranchi office.
This comes a day after a team from the anti-corruption agency visited CM Hemant Soren’s Delhi residence to question him in connection with a money laundering case.
Meanwhile, official sources as well as the Bharatiya Janata Party claimed Soren was “missing” and could not be contacted by the federal agency. However, one of Soren’s family members alleged that a “false” narrative was being set to “delegitimise” the JMM leader’s position.
