Heavy rain expected to continue till September 9
The Indian Meteorological Department has said that heavy rains are likely to continue in Karnataka till September 9. Heavy rain may occur in Bengaluru, 3 districts of Coastal Karnataka and one hilly region. A yellow alert has been issued for Kodagu, Shivamogga, Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Chikmagalur districts between September 5 and 9. Fishermen have been told not to venture into the sea.
