Two people died and one was injured in a house collapse in Rajasthan’s Udaipur on Monday night.

In two days, incidents like rain and landslides have killed 30 people in seven states. 9 people have died in Himachal Pradesh, 6 in Mumbai, 5 in Rajasthan, 2 each in Haryana and Punjab. 5 people have died due to lightning in Chhattisgarh. 1 woman has died due to electrocution in Delhi.

A loss of Rs 102.5 crore is expected in Himachal Pradesh. Two landslides occurred in Mandi district of Himachal in a span of 48 hours. Due to this, the Chandigarh-Manali National Highway-21 remained closed for hours at two places. The jam on this route opened after 20 hours. Even now 150 roads are closed here. Orange alert has been issued for today.

In Uttarakhand, the Nandanagar road was blocked on Monday due to falling debris. Debris fell from a hill near Chaman Mandir in Nandprayag following heavy rains. After which many vehicles got stuck on both sides of the road. Police is trying to open the road. At the same time, after heavy rains in Uttarkashi district, 4 houses developed cracks.

The Meteorological Department said that in the next 24 hours, Punjab, Himachal, Uttarakhand, Haryana, Delhi, Western UP, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Coastal Karnataka, Goa, Odisha, Jharkhand, West Bengal, Assam, Meghalaya, Heavy to very heavy rain will occur over Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh.
