Tech major HCL Technologies on Thursday posted a 9.83 per cent jump in its net profit to Rs 3,832 crore for the second quarter ended September 2023. Its revenue from operations during July-September 2023 increased 8.04 per cent to Rs 26,672 crore, compared with Rs 24,686 crore a year ago.
HCL Technologies’ net profit had stood at Rs 3,489 crore in the corresponding period last year.
The company’s board of directors has declared an interim dividend of Rs 12 per equity share of Rs 2 each of the company for the financial year 2023-24. The record date of October 20, 2023, fixed for the payment of the interim dividend has been confirmed by the board of directors. The payment date of the said interim dividend shall be October 31, 2023.
Shares of HCL Technologies on Thursday declined Rs 21.7 or 1.74 per cent to close at Rs 1,224.05 apiece on the BSE.
