Haryana Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (HGPC) president Jagdish Singh Jhinda has said that VIP culture will be eradicated from gurdwaras. It is often seen that the member Sahiban or a headman comes and arranges langar separately. This will be banned. Now Nihang Sikhs will be deployed as bodyguards.
Jhinda was interacting with journalists at Chhathi Patshahi Gurdwara in Kurukshetra on Saturday. He told that he will meet the DC of Kurukshetra and express his interest for the post of head. Will also meet CM on Sunday. Jhinda said that VIP culture in gurdwaras will be ended. It has been observed that the bodyguards given by the government enter the Gurdwara Sahib in uniform and weapons.
University will be announced in the house meeting
Now the Nihang Sikhs of Haryana will not be kept in the bodyguard’s room but government employees. I have the support of 33 out of 35 members and according to the legal process, I have been assigned the post of head. He said that our Parliament is SGPC and the committee of Haryana has been formed.
