A concert was organized for the devotees at Lahore Fort.

Indian devotee Mrs. Sanjeev is very emotional while entering India from Wagah Border. Taking care of herself, she says that these tears are a sign of love from the people of Pakistan. I will never forget this journey forever. She had come along with a group of 87 people to seek Mahadev’s blessings at the Katasraj temple at Chakwal in Punjab. She says that during this 7-day journey she worshiped at Katasaraja and Krishna temple.

Enjoyed Pakistani cuisine. Pak government is requested to give maximum number of visas to the people coming from India. Rakesh Arora, another devotee, said, “It didn’t even feel like we were in another country here. At the same time, Aasu says that the Katasaraja temple encompasses unique architectural art and culture. Glad to see that the government and the board are maintaining the temple in a better way.

Vijay Kumar Sharma says, “The city of Lahore is close to the heart of every Indian. The city exemplifies art and multi-cultural heritage. The hospitality of the people of Pakistan has touched our hearts. These batches of devotees also visited Anarkali Bazaar and Emporium Mall, buying jewellery, clothes and bracelets etc. The female devotee told that she has bought special shawls here for her mother-in-law and sister.

She tells that the hot dupatta here is very popular in India too. Another woman devotee told that dryfruits are available here at almost half the price as compared to India. I have taken walnuts, pistachios and almonds from here. Apart from this, Lahore shoes and traditional clothes are taken here. She says, “When the shopkeepers here came to know that we had come from India, they gave us huge discounts.

Pakistani artistes perform Hindi film songs at Lahore Fort
A concert was organized for the devotees at Lahore Fort. Local artists sang Indian film songs. Syed Shaheen Hasan, Director, Ganga Ram Heritage Foundation welcomed the devotees. It is believed that the pond built in the temple at Katasraj was formed by the tears falling of Mahadev when he was doing orgy over the dead body of Sati.
