HAPPY BIRTHDAY PRASON JOSHI: Renowned lyricist, screenwriter, poet, and marketer, Prasoon Joshi will ring in his 51st birthday today. Referred by many as the common man’s poet, Prasoon Joshi describes complex emotions in a simple way through his songs. Over the years, he has won several accolades including the Filmfare and the National Awards. The government of India awarded him Padma Shri for his contributions to Arts, Literature, and Advertising in 2015. Prasoon Joshi was also appointed as the Chairperson of the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) in 2017.
