The smallest GoPro action camera now supports 4K recording and is equally capable to shoot underwater like the premium model.

GoPro has launched its Hero camera in India, the company’s smallest and most affordable model with a built-in screen. Equipped with features like 4K video capture, a touchscreen display and automated video stabilization through an app, the Hero is described by GoPro as its “lightest, simplest to use, and most cost-effective 4K camera ever.” It’s designed to withstand tough environments, including mud, snow and water.

GoPro Hero Camera Price In India

The GoPro Hero action camera has launched in India at Rs 23,990 and now you can buy it from online and offline channels in the country.

GoPro Hero Camera Features

The GoPro Hero weighs 86g and is 35 percent smaller in volume and 46 percent lighter compared to the Hero 13 Black (with integrated mounting fingers). Despite its compact size, the Hero’s waterproof build can handle depths of up to 16 feet (5 meters), making it ideal for adventure seekers.

The action camera has a touch LCD screen that lets you change the shot modes using swipe movements. Users of the GoPro Hero can also use the Mode button to accomplish this. For video capture, there is a separate shutter button. The camera’s Hydrophobic cover glass is supposed to repel water and is easily replaced.

The GoPro Hero can record video in 4K or 1080p resolutions. It can also take slow-motion video at 2.7K 60 frames per second (fps). Creators can also use the companion Quik software to extract 8-megapixel pictures from 4K footage. The same software may also be used to post material directly on social media platforms like Instagram and Snapchat.

The camera also includes a HyperSmooth video stabilisation function that is said to smooth out bumps in the footage. It shoots in a 16:9 horizontal aspect ratio and is supposed to be YouTube-ready.

According to GoPro, its newest and small action camera can record continuously for up to 100 minutes on a single charge at its maximum video level. It works with more than 35 of the currently available GoPro mounts and accessories.
