Gold prices rose on Wednesday, but silver became cheaper, what is the price of Kolkata?

Gold prices rose in Kolkata on Wednesday. Prices of 10 grams of hardened gold (24 carats), jewelery gold (22 carats) and Hallmark gold jewelery (22 carats) rose by Rs 100 each. On the other hand, the price of silver has gone up. The price of one kilogram of retail silver and silver butt has gone up by Rs 400.

Take a look at the price of gold and silver when the market opened in Kolkata on Wednesday (June 7) –

• 24 karat, hard gold (10 grams) – 51,650 rupees (the previous day was 51,550 rupees).

• 22 carats, jewelry gold (10 grams) – 49,000 rupees (the previous day was 48,900 rupees).

• 22 carat, Hallmark gold jewelry (10 grams) – 49,650 rupees (the previous day was 49,650 rupees).

• One kilogram of silver bait – Rs. 72,550 (the previous day was Rs. 62,150).

• One kilogram of retail silver – Rs. 82,650 (the previous day was Rs. 62,250)

Gold and silver prices in the Indian market

On the third working day of the week, gold prices rose slightly in the Indian market. On the MCX index, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Tk 95 or 0.19 percent to Rs 51,063. Meanwhile, the price of silver has come down. The price of one kilogram of silver fell by 0.37 per cent or Rs 222 to Rs 72,021.
