There was a robbery in Punjab National Bank here on Saturday afternoon. 4 miscreants who entered the bank with weapons looted 12 lakh rupees by taking bank employees at gun point. There was no security guard in the bank at the time of the incident. The miscreants carried out this incident in just 6 minutes. After that he ran away on the bike. The incident is of PNB branch located at Noornagar under Nandgram police station area.

The incident of two o’clock, the miscreants came on two bikes
There is a branch of PNB on the first floor of a three-storey building in Nurnagar. There were only three bank employees in the bank at the time of the incident, other employees had gone for lunch. At around two o’clock in the afternoon, four miscreants reached the bank on two bikes and entered inside. At that time the cashier had left his cabin and went to the other side. All the cash was kept in the bag at the counter itself. The miscreants came inside and pointed pistols at the employees. The workers were frightened by this sudden incident.
Before the bank employees could understand anything, the miscreants took away all the cash from the counter by showing weapons. Thereafter the miscreants easily escaped. After the miscreant left, the employees raised an alarm and informed the police. By the time the neighbors arrived, the miscreants had fled.
