Attention postgraduate engineering and technology students! The application process for GATE 2024 Exam is underway, and candidates can submit their registration cum application forms for the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) 2024 Exam till September 29, 2023. However, candidates who fail to submit their applications within the stipulated time would still be able to submit their exam applications till October 13, but with a late fine of Rs 500 per paper. Interested candidates may further note that the GATE 2024 Application Fee for Female, SC, and ST category candidates is Rs 900, while all other candidates will be required to pay an application fee of Rs 1,800.
Notably, Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore is the organising institute for the GATE 2024 Exam. As scheduled, the GATE 2024 Exam will be held on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2024. For 2024 though, the GATE Exam will be conducted at centres within India only. International and NRI candidates can register for the GATE Exam 2024, but they will be required to select a test city in India where they would wish to appear for the exam.
Those who have a degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Architecture/ and Humanities can apply for the GATE 2024 Exam. Candidates studying in the third year of their undergraduate programmes at present can also apply. While the previous year’s GATE Exam Eligibility also included ‘Commerce’ subject, the same has been removed this year.
