The phone will be powered by a big 6,000mAh battery supported by 25W fast charging. The phone will run Android 13 out of the box. According to Samsung, the phone will support two generations of OS upgrades and up to four years of security upgrades.

Connectivity options would include 5G, 4G, Bluetooth, NFC, GPS, dual-band Wi-Fi and a USB type-C port for charging.

Meanwhile, quashing rumours that Samsung may not launch a Galaxy S Fan Edition (FE) model for the second consecutive year, a recent report suggests that Samsung is mulling to launch the Galaxy S23 FE likely in the fourth quarter (Q4) of this year. According to a report by Sam Mobile, Samsung may ditch Qualcomm Snapdragon chipsets for the S23 FE model and opt for its in-house Exynos 2200 chip in all markets, including the US.
