A dinner meeting of the disgruntled G-23 faction of the Congress was held after the election results of five states. After this, speculations of rebellion over the leadership in the party had started. In the CWC meeting, Sonia and Rahul-Priyanka had offered their resignations, which were rejected by the leaders present in the meeting, but since then the G-23 faction has been talking about offering a credible alternative for the Lok Sabha elections.
