G-20 summit to be held in Jammu and Kashmir: Administration formed a committee of officers for preparation; 20 countries will be involved

The Government of India has taken a big decision to expose the Pakistani propaganda regarding Jammu and Kashmir in front of the world. India, which is going to chair the G-20 summit in the year 2023, has decided to hold its meeting in Jammu and Kashmir. Heads of 20 countries will attend the meeting.

The Jammu and Kashmir administration has constituted a five-member committee under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, Housing and Urban Development Department to prepare for the meeting late on Thursday night. He has also been made the nodal officer for coordination with the Ministry of External Affairs. The committee includes officers from the Department of Transport, Tourism, Culture and Protocol.

First major international conference after abrogation of 370
India will chair the G20 from December 1, 2022 to November 30, 2023. This will be the first major international conference in Kashmir after the abrogation of Article 370 and reorganization of the state on August 5, 2019.
