Jailer, starring Rajinikanth, released on August 10 in theatres and emerged as one of the highest-grossing Tamil films of 2023. The movie was written and directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. Apart from Rajinikanth, the movie had Kannada star Shivarajkumar, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal and Bollywood’s Jackie Shroff. Tamannaah Bhatia also plays an extended cameo in the movie.

Since its release, the film has been gaining praise from all over the world which is very well reflected in the box office collection. If the media reports are to be believed, it is said that the worldwide collection of the movie has crossed Rs 600 crore. The domestic box office collection of the movie stands at Rs 337 crore so far with the movie still running in many theatres across the country. Amid all this, the makers have now released the full video of the most hyped song of this movie–Kaavaalaa.

Before its release, the lyrical video of the song Kaavaalaa was released. It immediately started trending and became famous worldwide. The eye-catching track shows actress Tamannaah Bhatia setting the stage on fire with her electrifying moves. Similar to the movie, the Kaavaalaa song is also shot grandly. Huge sets and hundreds of background dancers raise the level of the track. In the video, along with Tamannaah Bhatia’s quirky dance movie, Rajinikanth’s style is also highlighted. The video song which was released on Wednesday is now trending and has garnered more than 3 million views on YouTube.

Anirudh Ravichander is the music director of the movie with Arunraja Kamaraj being the lyricist. Shilpa Rao and Anirudh Ravichander have lent their voices to this song.

It was rumoured that Anirudh had copied the music of this song from one of the tracks of the movie Nabodi Mannan (1958). Despite all this, the song became one of the most-heard tracks from this movie.
