Former MLA-IAS accused of gang-raping video: Victim female lawyer said – DNA test should be done to find out whose son was born after gangrape

A woman lawyer of the Allahabad High Court has accused Bihar cadre IAS Sanjeev Hans and former RJD MLA Gulab Yadav of gangrape. The victim said that after the gangrape she has given birth to a son, DNA test should be done to check who her father is. The woman said that the MLA refused to accept the child as her own and IAS Hans refused to talk.

The court has ordered the police to protect the woman. The matter will now come up for hearing on January 7.

Victim’s allegation – gang-raped on the pretext of job and marriage
The victim said in the petition, “On February 2016, I had come to a senior lawyer residing in Gardnibagh, Patna. It was here that I was introduced to Gulab Yadav, who was then the RJD MLA from Jhanjharpur. Gulab served in the State Commission for Women. Had promised to become a member. I had gone to Gulab’s residence with bio-data. He tried to rape her. On protesting, he raped on the strength of a pistol.”

The victim had made preparations to file a case against the MLA. After this, the MLA filled vermilion in his demand and said that from today both of them are husband and wife. Though the MLA was already married, he told the victim that he would divorce the first wife. The MLA said that the victim should not file a case.

“Gang rape with IAS by calling in Pune hotel”
According to the victim, MLA Gulab once called her to Pune. Said that he is divorced from his first wife and he has its papers. The victim went to Hotel Bastille in Pune on 8 July 2017. There the MLA introduced him to IAS Sanjeev Hans. The duo gang-raped her after feeding her intoxicants during lunch. He also made a porn video of him.

The victim said that the video was being blackmailed by sending it on mobile. It was said that on opening the mouth, it would be made viral. When the victim became pregnant, she informed the MLA about it. He forced her to take abortion medicine. Gulab got the victim admitted to judicial classes in Delhi in October 2017 and lodged her in a girls hostel in Mukherjee Nagar.

“Repeatedly raped by both of them by threatening the video”
The victim said that Gulab always threatened to make the video viral. Gang raped on 13 February 2018 at Ashoka Hotel, Delhi, on 14 February 2018 at Park Avenue Hotel in Delhi and on 27 March 2018 at Hotel Le Meridien, Delhi. Sanjeev was also present with Gulab.

“The MLA refused to accept the child as his own, said that the sterilization is done”
The woman told that both the MLA and the IAS used to threaten to get an abortion and kill them. After this, the victim vacated the hostel located in Mukherjeenagar and started living with a room in Shalimar. She gave birth to a son on 25 October 2018. When he informed Gulab about this, he said that this is not his son. She has been sterilized. The child will be of IAS Hans. On the other hand, IAS Hans refused to talk to the woman.

The woman said that she also complained about the matter to the Patna SSP, but no action was taken. Eventually he filed a petition in the court of Danapur in November 2021. The court handed over the investigation of this case to the Roopspur police station. Due to the absence of a female police inspector here, the investigation was shifted to the women’s police station. SHO Kishori Sahchari said that on December 17, the statement of the victim was recorded. It has also been videographed. The investigation continues.
