Former Haryana President of AAP Naveen Jaihind arrested: Officer beaten up during document verification of nursing recruitment in Rohtak PGI

Former Aam Aadmi Party leader Naveen Jaihind has been arrested for allegedly kicking and punching the deputy registrar during verification of documents for nursing recruitment at PGIMS, Rohtak, Haryana. Along with this, security officer Ishwar Singh has also been arrested. Before Jaihind’s arrest, his supporters raised slogans.

Police personnel arrived under the leadership of DSP
In fact, in the afternoon, under the leadership of DSP Mahesh Kumar, a large number of police personnel reached Naveen Jaihind’s house. Naveen has been arrested from home. Anticipating protests during the arrest, adequate police force was deployed in advance. After arresting Jaihind, he has been brought to the police station. Police is engaged in further action.

Documents were being scrutinized for nursing recruitment at Rohtak-based PGIMS on Wednesday. Naveen Jaihind also reached PGI on the complaint of the applicants while verifying. He went inside to meet the document verification committee. He was also stopped earlier. The officers who came from Chandigarh asked everyone to move out, but both sides got heated about this.

In no time, it escalated into a scuffle. After which fierce kicks and punches went on from both the sides. Seeing the matter escalating, during this time the youths who had gone to the spot also entered into a scuffle and assaulted the officer who had come from the Chandigarh office. After which the security personnel posted there also intervened. Apart from Naveen Jaihind, the police have also registered a case against security officer Ishwar Singh in this case.

There was opposition to the benefits being received by other states
Naveen Jaihind alleged that for the first time other states have also been kept open like Haryana. Like Haryana residents, candidates coming from other states are being given 10 marks for not having a father and not having a job in the family. Which the nursing candidates of Haryana were opposing.

Advertisement was issued on 17 April
It may be mentioned that the Pandit Bhagwat Dayal Sharma University of Health Sciences had issued an advertisement on April 17 to fill the vacant posts of staff nurses in the medical colleges of Haryana as per the guidelines of the Haryana Government. Whose written and screening test was conducted.

Recruitment was on 307 posts
In which there were a total of 307 posts of Staff Nurse, for which applications were made. 3 times the candidates were called on the basis of marks obtained in the written and screening test. All the candidates of various categories were called before the committee from 12 to 16 December at PGIMS Rohtak with original documents. Where all the documents have to be attested by themselves.
