A fire broke out at a wedding party at Baguiati near Kolkata. A security guard at the venue of the fire died in the fire on Monday evening. 3 people were injured. This incident caused extreme panic in the house next to another event.
The blast took place at a wedding house near Kazi Nazrul Islam Sarani in the Baguiati Jora Mandir area on Monday evening. There were not many people in the marriage house then. The explosion shattered the panel of the building’s meter box on the security guard. He died on the spot. Three people were injured in the blast. The locals took the injured to a nursing home. Preliminary estimates are that the cylinder burst and caused an accident.
Police and fire brigade of Baguiati police station reached the spot after receiving the news. They quickly evacuated the marriage. The adjoining wedding house was also evacuated. The fire was brought under control till the last news was received. Fire officials are searching for the cause of the fire.
