To address this issue, the Railways have announced several special trains for the upcoming festivals, including Ganesh Chaturthi, Durga Puja, Diwali, and Chhath Puja. Southern Railway has confirmed that two weekly special trains will operate during September, October, and November to accommodate the increased passenger demand.
