That’s why NDA is strong
NDA is very close to the majority figure. It needs the support of Naveen Patnaik of BJD and Jaganmohan Reddy of YSRC. Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also met Naveen Patnaik and Jagan Mohan Reddy.

However, both have asked for a decision on support only after the name of the candidate is revealed. NDA’s performance in the last presidential election was very good. Ramnath Kovind got 65.35% of the votes. This time also NDA is trying to repeat it.
