Fans Compare Pathaan Train Scene Feat Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan With A Sequence In Uncharted

New Delhi: The train scene starring Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, who made a cameo in the movie, is one of the most applauded moments in ‘Pathaan’. In spite of the action-thriller’s apparent parallels to Hollywood productions, the movie has garnered overwhelmingly positive reviews from audiences across India.

Some viewers have noted a resemblance between the train segment and a stage in the video game Uncharted: The Lost Legacy, in addition to scenes that appear to have drawn inspiration from popular flicks ‘Fast and the Furious’ and ‘Mission: Impossible’ series, among others.

Fans on Reddit noticed a similarity between the main action scene in ‘Pathaan’ and a level in the video game. In this scene, Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Salman Khan’s Tiger team up to fight off foes aboard a speeding train. Tiger and Pathaan run across the train as it is about to crash into a cliff in order to escape to safety in the scene’s dramatic end.

Similar to Tiger and Pathaan at the climax of the movie, the cut-scene in Uncharted finishes with the main character sitting on the brink of the wrecked bridge and engaging in reflective conversation.

A user also pointed out that Shah Rukh Khan’s look was copied from Nathan Drake.

The game, which was released in 2017, is an add-on to the main franchise instalment Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End. Meanwhile, the Uncharted video games feature Nathan Drake as the main character, and a movie adaptation of it was released last year. The film, which starred Tom Holland as the title character, became a financial success.

On the other hand, ‘Pathaan’, starring Shah Rukh Khan, John Abraham, and Deepika Padukone, is currently shattering records at both the domestic and international box offices, earning a total of Rs 591 crore in just six days.
