In Jalandhar, Punjab, a man burnt alive his mother-in-law, daughter-in-law, son, mother-in-law and father-in-law. The accused set the room on fire when the family was sleeping. Because of this, they did not get a chance to get out and all were burnt alive in the room itself.

The 2 children who died are 5 and 7 years old. Initial investigation revealed that there was a domestic dispute between the two. Because of which the wife had come to the maternal house. This made the husband angry. The accused is also addicted to drugs. The name of the accused youth is Kali Singh. He is a resident of Khurshedpura village. He was married to Paramjit Kaur, daughter of Surjan Singh of Beetla village.

After marriage he had a son and a daughter. It is being told that a few days ago, Paramjeet Kaur took her children to her maternal ancestral village, Beetla. Last night her husband Kali Singh also reached Beatla to pick her up.

The accused said – I started the fire

In front of his eyes, he burnt alive his wife, daughter Arshdeep Kaur, son Gurmohal Singh, mother-in-law Jogindro and father-in-law Surjan Singh. Kali Singh then shouted and said that he had started the fire. After getting information about this, the police and forensic team reached the spot. Police is conducting raids to arrest Kali Singh.
