Seven people have been arrested from Delhi airport for trying to travel on fake boarding passes. Surprisingly, all the seven people have also cleared immigration for Air India flight AI-333 going from Delhi to London. Had he not been caught at the last check at the boarding gate, he would have boarded the flight and reached London. Reverification revealed that his name was not there in the list of passengers.

The accused have been identified as Armandip Singh, Amritpal Singh, Jagdeep Singh, Gurwinder Singh, Rahul Jangra, Deepak, Manbir. These people were given fake documents by agents named Pankaj, Ranjit and Krishna. Police said seven people had paid Rs 12 lakh to agents in Delhi for their boarding pass, negative RT-PCR report and other documents. The agents had assured him of permanent settlement in Britain.

If you go to the counter and take a boarding pass, you will be caught.
The agents knew that if the passengers went to the counter to get the boarding pass, they would be caught, so they had provided fake boarding passes. In Uttar Pradesh’s Bhadohi, the police have managed to trace the mastermind Pankaj and have arrested him. Deputy Commissioner of Police (IGI Airport) Sanjay Tyagi said that Pankaj and his associates Ranjit and Krishna had arranged for fake boarding passes.

There was a plan to seek asylum from the UK government
The arrested passengers disclosed that they were all going to UK on CDC (Continuous Discharge Certificate) approved by DG Shipping of India. He had described himself as a seller on immigration. His plan was to destroy CDC documents once he reached the UK and seek asylum from the UK government.
