Enmity started with the murder of Gural Brar
Till about 3 years ago, both Lawrence and Bambiha were dominating in different areas of Punjab, but in 2020, after the murder of gangster Goldie Brar’s brother Gurlal Brar in Chandigarh, the enmity between these two gangs increased. Firing took place several times between the two gangs at many places from Amritsar to Chandigarh. First, both the groups brought together small gangs of Punjab and then formed separate syndicates by including gangsters from Delhi, Haryana and UP keeping their foot out of Punjab.

3 high profile murders in a year and a half
Within a year and a half after the formation of the syndicate, several major incidents have taken place in all the three states. The Lawrence group had earlier taken revenge for the murder of Gurlal Brar. The Bambiha group, planning with well-known gangster Kaushal Chaudhary, a resident of Gurugram, Haryana, killed Lawrence’s best friend, Youth Akali leader Vicky Middukheda, in broad daylight inside Mohali in August 2021. The Bambiha group stopped here and shot International Kabaddi player Sandeep Nangal Ambia inside Jalandhar.

In both these big incidents, Kaushal Chowdhary provided his henchmen to Bambiha. Later, Lawrence got Punjabi singer Sidhu Musewala murdered through his gang. In this, Jaggu Bhagwanpuria was also with the Lawrence Syndicate, but on suspicion of being an informer inside the jail, the Lawrence gang developed enmity with Jaggu Bhagwanpuria and killed two of his henchmen inside the Goindwal Jail in Punjab.

This time there was a plan to murder gangster Rohit Chowdhary associated with Lawrence Syndicate Bambiha, but before that Rohit Chowdhary got Prince Tewatia murdered through his gang.
