Encounter of Panipat police and murderers: Bullets fired from both sides; 3 arrested for stabbing 2, had thrown the taxi driver

An encounter took place on Monday night between the police of Haryana’s Panipat district and the killers of the taxi driver. After several rounds of fire, Panipat CIA-2 overpowered 3 miscreants including both the injured. These are the same miscreants who had killed and thrown away the taxi driver Mohit Soni a few days back.

In the encounter, bullets were fired from both sides. The bullets hit the miscreants’ feet. The injured miscreants were brought to the Civil Hospital, where both the injured are under treatment. In the preliminary inquiry by the killers, the incident of kidnapping, looting and murder of Tehsil camp driver Mohit Soni has been revealed.

Encounter took place in Shamshabad village of Sanauli area
On the basis of secret information, the police team raided village Shamshabad in Sanauli area to nab the murderers. The miscreants caught during the encounter have been identified as Ashok Lohari and Sachin resident of Vijay Nagar, Rohtak. Both these miscreants have been shot in their legs. Both are under treatment at the civil hospital, while the third accused is currently lodged in the jail of Sanauli police station.

Mohit was killed by the accused on October 14
On October 15, Rajendra lodged a complaint at the police station Tehsil Camp. It was told in the complaint that he is a resident of Preet Vihar Colony. He has taken a Brezza car. The car was driven by his son Mohit Soni. On October 14, Mohit went to village Raslapur when he got a call for booking.

At around 7:30 pm, Mohit called home and told that he had found passengers in Raslapur. The passengers have deposited Rs 290 in the online account for booking the train. Taking booking from here, he is going to Jhajjar. No location of Mohit came after reaching Bahalgarh. Tried Mohit’s phone the whole night, but he could not be reached.

Rajendra told that he had given a complaint to the police about Mohit’s disappearance. While investigating, the police found an unknown body, which turned out to be Mohit’s. Taking the investigation further, the police arrested the accused involved in the incident, Pankaj resident of village Kavi district Panipat. On his tip, the other accused were nabbed in a raid in village Shamshabad.
