An Indian Air Force helicopter had to make an emergency landing on Tuesday in the field of Hanumangarh. There was a technical fault in the Mi-35 helicopter. There were 5 army personnel on board including the pilot. Suddenly the people around gathered after the helicopter landed in the field.

On receiving the information, apart from the police of Sadar, Sangaria and Sadulshahar police stations of Hanumangarh district, the public representatives of the village reached the spot. However, it is not yet clear what went wrong with the helicopter.

According to the information, the helicopter took off from the Air Force Station of Suratgarh on Tuesday morning. Five army personnel, including the pilot, were on board the helicopter. On reaching Hanumangarh area, suddenly there was a technical fault in the helicopter. On this, the pilot made an emergency landing in the field at Chak 9 MMK (name of the village) located between the villages Dholipal and Kikarwali at around 9.30 am.

After landing, the Indian Air Force personnel informed the top officials and tried to rectify the fault in the helicopter. On this occasion a large number of villagers including sarpanch husband Ayub Khan reached the spot.

The police officers took information from the army personnel. Earlier, the villagers ran towards the fields due to the rumor that the army helicopter crashed in the field near the village. On visiting the spot, it was found that the helicopter had made an emergency landing.

According to the information, 2 helicopters had taken off from Suratgarh. One of them made an emergency landing. According to the police, Air Force engineers from Suratgarh have reached the spot and efforts are on to rectify the technical snag of the helicopter. The Air Force has taken over the responsibility of helicopter security, although some police personnel are still present there.
