Earthquake tremors were felt six times in Jammu and Kashmir within 21 hours. The epicenter of two tremors was in Udhampur, three in Doda district and one tremor in Kishtwar district. The earthquake measured 2.6 to 3.9 on the Richter scale, with no damage reported.

According to the National Center for Seismology, the first tremor of the earthquake came at 2.20 pm on Monday at a magnitude of 3.9. Its center was in Doda district. After this, a tremor of 2.6 magnitude occurred in Doda itself at 3.21 am. The earthquake struck at 3.44 am at 2.8 while it was 2.9 at 8.03 am.

The epicenter of both these tremors was in Udhampur district. At the same time, an earthquake of 3.1 magnitude occurred at 2.17 pm on Tuesday afternoon, with its epicenter in Kishtwar district. Another tremor of magnitude 3.9 occurred at 11.23 am, with its epicenter five kilometers below the ground in Doda district.
